A large volume of arms, ammunition and explosive from Pilkhana, which were looted by some political thugs during the 2-day mutiny of the border security forces in Bangladesh, had recently ended into the possessions of the armed cadres of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. According to confirmed information, the fanatic religious group had blueprinted massive offensives in Bangladesh with the ulterior motive of unseating the current ruling party in the country. Top brasses in the leadership of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami gave instructions to the members and armed cadres of the party to prepare for “final war” against the current government in Bangladesh, with the “noble goal of saving the imprisoned leaders, who are facing false charges of committing crime during the 1971 war.”
It is also learnt from dependable sources that, one of the detained leaders of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, who has extensive connections in Pakistan, Middle East and some of the Western nations had conveyed a message to his trusted people within and outside the country to mobilize multiple offensives on Bangladesh Awami League led coalition government by creating international opinion through lobbyists as well as by getting commentaries and articles published in major newspapers in the world. The same leader also instructed his aides to pursue some of the international television channels in broadcasting documentaries and discussion shows condemning the ongoing trial process of the International War Crime Tribunal. The imprisoned leader of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami also suggested his people in regularly briefing the heads of states of the Muslim nations as well as policymakers in London, Washington etc on the day-to-day trial information of the detained leaders of the party.
Meanwhile, armed cadres of detained BNP leader Nasir Uddin Ahmed Pintu, who are holding huge volume of arms and explosives looted from Pilkhana head quarters of the Bangladesh border security forces, are reportedly selling a significant proportion of these items to armed cadres of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami while another detained leader from Bangladesh Nationalist Party, who also faces charges of committing crime against humanity is openly claiming that the ruling Bangladesh Awami League will “soon be ousted from power” while “equal revenge will be taken from the ruling party elites for their mistreatment with the opposition leaders”.
On condition of anonymity, one of the counter-terrorism experts told Weekly Blitz that the vested interest group, which played key role during the military intervention on January 11, 2007, has become extremely active in recent months with the deadly plan of implementing its nefarious blueprint, which would completely jeopardize country’s democratic system. Such elements are secretly contacting various extremist political forces including Hizbut Tahrir, Hizb Ut Towhid, Freedom Party and a section of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. One of the top aides of 1/11 kingpin Brigadier General [Retired] ATM Amin is liaising with various political parties as well as outlawed groups in Bangladesh with the blueprint of generating massive political unrest. It is even learnt that, 1/11 kingpin ATM Amin is backed by Pakistani spy agency ISI with logistics and fund. Almost on a regular basis, agents of ATM Amin are holding secret meetings at Dhaka’s Banani and Gulshan area, while they also are trying to infiltrate paid agents inside the office of the leader of the opposition in Bangladesh.
